Hawkesdene has a dedicated head chef and culinary team. Everything is made, and artfully prepared, from scratch, on-site. All meals on the estate throughout the weekend will be catered, with farm-to-table, local, seasonal ingredients. All meals are included with your stay. Food allergies and dietary restrictions will be taken into consideration.

7:00pm, Welcome Supper
Mexican in the Mountains is a creative spin on delicious Mexican cuisine including Chopped Beef & Chicken, Sautéed Onions & Peppers, Spanish Rice, Mexican Corn, Refried Beans, Homemade Pico de Gallo, Salsa, Fresh Guacamole, Chopped Lettuce, Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese, Sour Cream, served with Flour & Corn Tortillas. Finish with our chef’s dessert.

Friday March 1, 2024
8:30am – 10:00am, Hawkesdene Breakfast
Wake up to fresh brewed coffee, a selection of Rishi organic hot teas and hot cocoa starting at 7:00am. At 8:30am you will be treated to a farm-to-table breakfast buffet in the main house dining room. Breakfast is served until 10:00am.
The Chefs preset menu includes:
- Local farm eggs, signature or fluffy scrambled eggs
- Oven roasted potatoes, hash brown casserole or pancakes
- Bacon or sausage links
- Southern biscuits & gravy, butter croissants
- Fresh breads with homemade jams and butter
- Fresh baked breakfast cake
- Assorted cereals, granola, oatmeal, and yogurt
- Seasonal fresh fruits and berries
12:30pm – 2:00pm, Lunch
Guests are welcome to enjoy our bountiful lunch buffet served in the main house dining room from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.

- Chef’s specialty sandwich or entrée
- Mixed greens salad with house dressing
- Seasonal pasta salad or soup of the day
- Seasonal fresh fruits and berries
- Assortment of kettle chips
- Freshly baked cookies and sweets
7:00pm, Rehearsal Dinner (All guests welcome)
Smokey Mountain Barbecue — A Hawkesdene signature. Beef brisket and pulled pork slow-cooked on our Lang wood-fired barrel smoker. Served with red pepper mac and cheese, slaw, baked beans, yeast rolls and house-made barbecue sauces. Chef’s dessert.

Saturday March 2, 2024
8:30am – 10:00am, Hawkesdene “Early Riser” Breakfast
Coffee, tea and hot cocoa is served in the main house starting at 7:00am. At 8:30am those who need a morning snack can help themselves to the following items:
- Assorted cereals, granola, oatmeal, and yogurt
- Freshly baked cookies and sweets
- Fresh baked breakfast cake
- Fresh breads with homemade jams and butter
10:00am – 1:00pm, Signature Brunch
Our signature wedding day brunch will be served in the main house from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
The preset brunch menu includes:
- Honey glazed spiral ham
- Shrimp and cheddar grits
- Potato casserole
- Seasonal veggie frittata
- Field greens salad with house dressing
- Seasonal fruit salad
- Fresh baked croissants with homemade jams and butter
- From scratch scones or breakfast cake
5:30pm, Post-Wedding Cocktail Party
Grand charcuterie display presented on custom display boards. Included is a selection of imported and domestic cheeses, seasonal roasted and pickled vegetables, artisan sausages, dried fruits, homemade specialty sauces, additional seasonal items and more.
Special beverage: Cotton Candy Champagne
6:30pm, Wedding Reception
Modern Mountain — Served in the open-air pavilion and in the garden courtyard and includes the following items:
- Seasoned Carolina pork tenderloin with ground mustard au jus
- Roast chicken breast with lemon, garlic and garden herbs
- Hawkesdene signature smashed potatoes
- Balsamic honey brussel sprouts
- Maple glazed carrots
- Hawkesdene caesar salad with house dressing and croutons
- Artisan bread and herb butter
- Melissa’s hand-crafted, mini cupcakes and wedding cake
10:00pm, Late night snack
Chicken fingers and potato wedges served with a trio of dipping sauces.
